Introduction

Healthcare Capital Partners is a corporate finance boutique that focuses on the healthcare industry - specifically on patient care, life sciences, medtech, and pharma. Its first office was established in November 2001.
 
HCP currently has three partners, and its human resource strategy is to contract scientific and financial analysts on specific project work. In pursuit of this strategy, HCP invites you to submit your resumé  to be kept on file and considered for involvement in current and future projects.
 
Our compensation is attractive, and for much of the project work it is linked to performance. We actively build our database of analysts for future project work relying, for example, on our network of alumni and faculty at Imperial College London, the UK's most highly-ranked university for science and technology, as well as health management (at the Tanaka Business School).


Selection Criteria

HCP is looking to recruit candidates with a postgraduate qualification (e.g. MBA, MSc in Health Management etc.) Applicants will have a minimum of four years merger and acquisition and/or finance/accountancy experience coupled with work experience in a healthcare environment. The ideal applicant will be a graduate in his/her late 20s/early 30s based in London with entrepreneurial skills and ambitions. Remuneration is competitive with substantial bonuses for completed deals.
 
HCP additionally keeps a database of scientific advisors; if you feel that you have developed specialized knowledge/skills within a particular industry sector (e.g. dialysis) or an industry function (e.g. regulatory approval via the FDA), or have any other scientific knowledge that would be useful in healthcare corporate finance, we would like to hear from you.
