Stefano Ciampolini, MBA
Director & Partner
Stefano Ciampolini co-founded HCP and has directed all of its projects. He started his professional career with his family's group of companies, which included private clinics and diagnostic equipment manufacturing in Italy, France and the United States. He joined Arthur Andersen in London in 1996, where he was a member of its healthcare corporate finance team. In 1999, he founded NephroNet, a chain of independent dialysis centres, which (after successful development) was sold to Baxter Inc. in 2001. From 2001 to 2003 Stefano was a Managing Director of Baxter Renal Therapy Services and since 2007 he has served has CEO of the Renal Services Group, a dialysis services company based in London.
As part of his investment activities Stefano is a shareholder and board member of several healthcare ventures and private equity funds. He is a member of the advisory board at HealthEdge Investment Partners, a mid-size healthcare-focused US private equity fund.
Stefano earned an MBA from the Imperial College Management School in 1994 and holds a degree in economics from Kingston University, Surrey.
